About
When the former CEO of Boeing launches a venture firm the stakes are high. New Vista Capital came to us with a unique challenge: translate decades of aerospace and defense leadership into a venture brand that speaks to both founders and institutional investors. With a team that's commanded units and shaped policy, the firm needed an identity that reflected operational credibility, not typical VC polish. Our extensive work in the venture defense tech space uniquely prepared us to ensure New Vista signaled expertise, urgency, and originality.
At meet the edge our design process started with deep stakeholder conversations to understand New Vista's thesis and positioning. We developed a visual system anchored in clarity and precision: confident typography, a restrained palette that nods to industrial heritage, and photography spanning air, land, sea, and space. Every element was crafted to communicate scale and seriousness. From brand guidelines to pitch decks to marketing collateral, we built a comprehensive toolkit that works seamlessly across investor meetings, portfolio support, and public presence.
The website became the centerpiece of the brand experience. Working closely with the New Vista team, mte designed and developed a platform that prioritizes substance—clear navigation, portfolio storytelling, and content architecture that educates without overwhelming. Our experience designing for venture firms meant we knew how to balance founder appeal with LP sophistication. The result is a digital presence that feels purposeful and accessible, reflecting a firm that doesn't just understand emerging technologies—they've spent careers building them at the highest levels of American industry.
