Building connection through design. That was the mission of our work with Social Creatures — a nonprofit social innovation and research organization dedicated to combating social isolation. To celebrate the launch of our latest client meeting the edge we are proud to announce that our team is sponsoring “Rare Bottles, Good People” this Spring.
Over a year in the making, meet the edge has completely reimagined the visual brand identity, digital website experience, and marketing channels. Please join us to celebrate the launch of Social Creatures 2.0 with fellow Social Creatures in our backyard of Williamsburg, BK! Generous support also donated by Rude Mouth and WhiteLabel.
Introducing: The Next Chapter of Social Creatures. You are invited.
Date: Sunday April 26th
Time: 3-7PM
Venue: Rude Mouth, 359 Metropolitan Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211

meet the edge was approached to create an original brand identity and design framework for Social Creatures and its program portfolio, including SitGrit and Bonded by Baby. The challenge was to establish a cohesive visual system that could flex across diverse audiences while maintaining a singular, memorable voice that drives awareness and action.
“Social Creatures does a lot of things for a lot of different people (programs, science communication, advocacy) and for years our communications tried to explain all of it at once. meet the edge helped us stop explaining and start connecting. They built us a website and a messaging strategy that speaks differently to a funder, a community partner, and someone who just Googled ‘loneliness’ at 2am, and makes all three feel like they landed in the right place. They get nonprofit. They get complexity. And they delivered on scope and timeline without drama. If your work is hard to distill, they’re exactly who you want.” – Rose Perry, PhD
Founder & Executive Director, Social Creatures
In the words of mte CEO Grant Plotkin: “We learned early on in the research process that social isolation affects people across all demographics — from new parents navigating postpartum challenges to older adults facing physical limitations. This insight informed our creative process — opting for a design language that feels warm, accessible, and human-centered, celebrating the power of connection through every touchpoint.”
