PLAYGROUND
"The future of the internet" is best to describe the ambitious goal behind this web3 focused project. mte designed the Playground Awards to empower creators with a motive to generate their most incredible creations in an original way to funnel them onto the platform. We designed compelling assets and landing pages for each respective category.
Whilst introducing a new technology we wanted to ground Playground in the role they play with harnessing the power of community. In the ideation phase we landed on the vibrancy of member profiles which we translated into the design language. Playground’s edge is community curation in addition to purchasing tickets for dedicated programming – online and offline.
In some of our early conversations with the executive team we pinpointed social discovery as an insight that we wove throughout the creative process. This guided our insight – proving personalization of recommendations is a key part of the Playground ethos. Each category in the Playground Awards honors originality and risk-taking.
